somehoodlum is a creator, illustrator, and animator whose standout work and high profile collaborations have pushed him to the centerstage of the hypebeast culture over the past 8 years.Starting out by posting his artwork on Instagram, his career took off when the attention of celebrities like Drake led to commissions by music superstars Lil Uzi Vert, Future, 21 Savage, Lil Nas X, and others, in addition to being brought on as the lead concept artist and producer of “Fairfax,” a TV show on Amazon Prime.
By the end of 2021, somehoodlum had leapt full force into the world of Web3, selling out all 5,000 editions of his debut NFT project “hoodlums” on STURDY EXCHANGE in less than 24 hours. The first PFP on the FLOW blockchain (same one used by NBA Topshot), the artist’s relentless focus on high quality work and IRL utility for holders (such as weekly access music events, NBA games, etc.) has led to a vibrant and engaged community.To top it all off, somehoodlum is the first visual artist to receive a residency in Las Vegas, with a TAO Group partnership giving the artist 4 residency dates at Omnia Nightclub and Caesars Palace (including a handpicked lineup of artists each time, in addition to DJ sets from somehoodlum, himself).
